Try New Foods

Trying new things can make you happy, and trying new foods can also make you happy.

You never know, there’s a good chance you’ll find some new foods that you never knew that you really like!

While you’re doing that, here are some foods that can help make you happier:

  • Dark Chocolate – We have to start with this one. Besides the fact that it tastes great, it can help reduce anxiety (because it’s high in magnesium), and can make you happier (because of the endorphins.)
  • Spinach – It has high amounts of folic acid, which can improve your mood.
  • Green Tea – Yes it’s a drink and not a food, but it can help lower stress and calm you down. It also can help with anxiety and make you happier.
  • Walnuts – They can help improve your mood, and the Omega 3’s will help keep depression away.
  • Salmon – This also contains Omega 3’s and improve your mood and fight depression.
  • Berries – Strawberries, Raspberries, Blueberries, and Blackberries all contain mood stabilizing chemicals, which can help make you happier.
  • Bananas – They contain tryptophan which can help regulate your mood.
  • Oysters – They contain zinc, which help keep you less anxious and keep you happier and calm.

…there are a lot of other foods out there that can help with your mood too. Who know that just by eating we can make ourselves happier?
