The Waffle Maker I Decided to Go With….(and why)
Last month, our waffle maker broke, and I went to Amazon to find a new waffle maker.
I had a really hard time choosing one, due to the materials the waffle makers are made of. If you want to read about it, I posted about it here.
To make it short & simple, I wasn’t sure whether to get the best selling one, which has Teflon, or one that has DuraCeramic instead.
…and the winner is?!
I just got the Presto Waffle Maker. I haven’t even opened it yet, but it’s here and I’m excited.
Why did we go with that?
I did a lot of research. A lot of people say Teflon is bad for you…but when asked, no one could even find out what DuraCeramic was made of. It was possible it could be something even worse. How often do we even use a waffle maker? Maybe once every few weeks. So it’s not like it’s something we’re exposing ourselves to every day…or even every week.
As of right now, the Presto Waffle Maker that is the best selling waffle maker on Amazon has 3,295 reviews, with 72% being 5 star reviews.
So we decided to go with it. If it’s anything like the last one, in a year or two we’ll be in the market for another one anyway, and maybe by then we’ll be able to get something that we KNOW is good.
But for now we’re happy. It’s something that isn’t used all that often, and that many people can’t be wrong, right?
