My B. Tempt’d by Wacoal Bra Deal (How to Get the Best Price on Bras)

I always love getting a good deal, and won’t buy something if I know it’s not a great deal.

The weekend before last, I was shopping with one of my good friends. We went to the Short Hills mall, which is an upscale mall, and has a lot of really nice stores in it. We ended up going into the Wacoal store because we saw there were sale signs in a few different places.

Now, there were 2 small sections by themselves. One said “Sale on Select Items”, and the other said “50% Off Select items”. Silly me assumed that anything under those signs were part of the sale. That’s where I was wrong.

I saw a really nice B. Tempt’d by Wacoal Future Foundations bra. It was REALLY soft, and the tag said $29.99, so I assumed that it was half off, meaning I’d pay $15 for it. I was happy paying $15 for a nice bra. So I tried it on. I really liked it, because it was comfortable, and SO soft!

I went to go pay for it, and was shocked when it came up at $29.99. I asked why, and was told “see the sign, only select items are half off.” Considering there weren’t very many bras in that section, I was really surprised that it was full price. So I put it back. They’re not the only ones that sell B. Tempt’d, and I knew I’d get a better deal elsewhere.

A few days later, once I had some free time, I started searching in Google. I used the phrase “B. Tempt’d by Wacoal Future Foundations” since I knew that was the name of the type of bra I wanted, and then from there it would be easy to find the specific bra.

What came up? Macy’s, Bare Necessities, Amazon, and Nordstrom Rack.

Most of them were having a sale, and I saw all sorts of different prices. Macy’s had 20% off that you could use sitewide, but it still wasn’t a great deal as they have the retail price at $42. Bare Necessities had a great price at $17.99, but didn’t have my size. On the other hand, Nordtsrom Rack had a lot of different sizes in stock, including mine, but shipping wasn’t free. At $19.97 it was a great price though, so if I hadn’t been lazy I would have probably gone to my local Nordstrom Rack to see if they had it in stock.

I ended up getting not just one, but two of the B. Tempt’d by Wacoal Future Foundations bras at Amazon. The first one I got for $21.83 (it was the same bra, but with lace on the side) and the second I ordered before the first one even came, as it was the plain one in the same color I had tried on at the store, but for $12.49. When I saw the price, I just had to buy it!

So I ended up with 2 really comfortable bras for $34.32. I definitely can’t complain!

But it really goes to show that there are certain things that you can shop around for, and that it’s always worth taking a quick look on your phone when you’re in a store and trying to decide if the price you’re thinking of paying is a good price or not.
