Meditate

Meditation can do a lot for you. It makes you happier. It can make you less stressed because it lowers the amount of cortisol in your body.

It helps stop your mind from wandering. They say that if your mind is wandering, you’re not in the now and you aren’t going to be as happy. This teaches you how to be in the moment and not have your brain wandering thinking about other things.

It can help lower your anxiety and depression as well.

It actually changes your brain!

So even if you have no idea what you’re doing, that’s ok. Try any type of meditation at all. You’ll find some where you just focus on your breathing, but if that’s not helpful for you, there are also guided meditations where you listen to what they say and follow along and it isn’t at all about being quiet. I’ve found that they’re really helpful!

Even if you meditate just 5 minutes a day, you’ll still see a huge difference in your life. Try it out today!
