30 Day Mindfulness Challenge: Day 5

30 Day Mindfulness Challenge Day 5

I’ve been meditating for 5 days in a row now, as part of the 30 Day Mindfulness Challenge.

Each week I’m trying a new way to be mindful, and this week has been all about meditation.

I’ve been using Headspace to do guided meditation, and I’m happy to say that today was a little bit easier.

I made sure I listened to it a lot earlier in the day, and I think that helped.

I really think if I was able to do it first thing in the morning, it might be even better. The problem is getting myself to do it that early in the morning. But maybe I’ll try it sometime.

I was able to concentrate better, and thought it went well. I’m just glad that I’ve now done it 5 days in a row! Hopefully I’m on my way to making it a habit.

If you’re looking for another way to meditate here’s another book I’ve bought but haven’t read yet. (do you see a pattern? I can’t tell you the number of books I have in my house that I haven’t read yet! It’s bad…all books that I really want to read too!) It’s called Real Happiness. It’s a book and CD and is a 28-day program about the power of meditation.

I’ve heard nothing but good things about it, and one day will finally get to it!

If you’re trying to meditate as well, I hope you find a way that works for you. It’s a great way to be mindful.

Enjoy,
