Who Knew Gap Baby Clothes were so Inexpensive? (They are SO cute!)

Gap Sale Plus 20 Percent Off

I like a good deal. Especially when it comes to shopping for my daughter.

Let’s face it. No matter how awesome the outfit is, she’s only going to be able to wear it for a few months at most, and that’s if it doesn’t get ruined first. But there’s no way it’ll last more than that, especially while she’s so young. She’ll grow out of it.

Because of this, in my eyes it’s just not worth it to spend a lot of money on baby clothes. Of course you want your child to look cute, and of course if you’re buying a gift you’ll spend a bit more than you would on your own…but either way, you don’t want to spend a lot.

That’s why I was really surprised when I started noticing that Gap had really cute baby clothes (that part wasn’t a surprise) that ended up being pretty inexpensive if you wait for a sale and a coupon code.

Like right now (and if it’s not going on when you read this post, just wait a little while, it’ll happen again) you’ll find that most items are up to 50% off, and then you can use code YOUMAY to get an extra 20% off.

You don’t even need to search for it, as you can see above it’s at the top of the website when you go there.

So what do you do? Go to the sale section, and start your hunt!

I’ve found some REALLY cute clothes this way. I love Disney. That’s no surprise. It turns out that Gap often has a lot of Disney clothes.

A few months ago I got a few onesies as well as pants that have the 7 dwarfs on them. They’re adorable, and she’s worn them many times. They’re good quality, and I will definitely be passing them down to someone else when she doesn’t fit in them anymore. Luckily, they’re 6-12 months, so she still fits in them at the moment.

They also have 101 Dalmatians clothes, and of course, Mickey and Minnie.

They have all sorts of outfits – onesies, cute little one-piece outfits, dresses, tops, pants, etc… and they really look nice, without having to spend a lot on something that the baby won’t wear for very long.

Just to give you an idea of what types of prices I’m talking about.

Right now after the 20% off, you can get:

  • GAP Logo Bodysuit for $6.39 (regularly $16.95.)
  • Bear Hoodie in French Terry for $11.99 (regularly $29.95.)
  • Disney Dalmatians Dress for $11.98 (regularly $49.95.)
  • Cozy Bear Shift Dress for $10.38 (regularly $34.95.)
  • Disney Baby Frozen Dreamers Short Sleeve Sleep Set for $7.99 (regularly $29.95)
  • …and a lot more!

Seriously…I could go on and on showing you some great prices on some really, really cute outfits. To me, this is a good compromise. You still get high quality clothes that look adorable on both little boys and girls, but you don’t have to spend a lot of money to do so. On top of that, the clothes will still be around for either your next child, or someone else that you want to hand them down to, making them and even better deal.

I just wanted to pass that along, because if a year ago you told me I’d be buying my little girl clothes at Gap, I would have laughed at you, telling you that there was no way that I was going to spend that kind of money on clothes that would only last a few months.

Who knew how wrong I would be, and that the prices for their clothes would actually be reasonable…and even really good sometimes!

If you’re not finding the sizes you want online, be sure to check out the sale section at your stores too. They don’t always have the extra percent off, but you might find the size you’re looking for there.
