The Easiest Way to Save Money on Almost Every Purchase You Make Online!
I love saving money, and so like you probably do, before I make any online purchase, I go and look for coupon codes.
I hope for a percent off of any purchase, but I’ll be happy with a certain amount of dollars off if you spend another amount if I have to. I just love knowing that I got the best price online.
What if I told you that there is another way to save money on your purchase?
Actually, the way it works is that you make your purchase, and then you get a percentage of it back. It’s called cash back, and what happens is that you know beforehand exactly what percentage of cash back you’ll get. It doesn’t matter what you by (except for gift cards, which usually don’t count.)
Ebates is a cash back site that I’ve been using for years, and they always pay what I’m owed.
Here’s how it works.
Let’s say you wanted to buy something from Old Navy today. If you went to the Ebates website, you’d see that you’ll be able to get 6% cash back. So you click to go to Old Navy’s website from Ebates, and make your purchase. Let’s say you spend $50.
Within a few days, you’d get an email from Ebates saying that you’ll get $3 cash back for your purchase! All you did to get the $3 was go through Ebates to get to Old Navy…that’s the only difference. Wasn’t that worth the $3? Of course!
This works for all sorts of shopping websites. You name it, it’s probably on Ebates.

I actually just earned another $0.60 on Tuesday when I made a purchase at White House Black Market. I found a shirt that I fell in love with for $44. I had a coupon code from my email that gave me $20 off (another reason to always sign up for emails from your favorite retailers), and since I went through eBates, got another 2.5% back on my purchase.
After I get the cash back, I’ll have spent $23.40 for a shirt that cost $44. Not bad, right?

You might think that getting a few percent back of any purchase isn’t really much, and you’re right…but it definitely adds up!
Plus, often times during the year, the percent cash back will go up, usually around holidays, So you can end up getting a great deal with cash back and coupons. For example, the other day Kohl’s had 14% cash back…and they also almost always have a 15% or 20% coupon you can use too. So if you used both together, you’d save a lot of money!
